Kentucky Owl was a popular distillery that operated on the banks of the Kentucky River from 1879 until prohibition became law in 1916. One hundred years later, the great-great-grandson of the founder decided to revive the family business and blended a Kentucky bourbon worthy of the family name.

Kentucky Owl now makes several barrel-aged craft whiskeys in small batches, and it has become popular among whiskey connoisseurs. The company even won the Double Gold Medal and Gold Medal at the 2022 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
